Sorry I have been lacking in the post department!
I wanted to share the babies (toddlers now ;) 2 year pictures that we had done. The first attempt was a no-go. London was so mad and cried the whole time that we had to leave and didn't get one picture! The second attempt was much better!
I can't believe they are going to be 2 in just a couple weeks. The time goes too fast!
We are really enjoying them. Their little personalities are coming through and they are both so sweet and funny and loving.
Lyla is such a smarty pants! She knows all her colors and shapes. She can count to 10 and loves doing so. She's talking like crazy! Her new thing that she's been saying a lot is "No way!".
London is such a little sweetie. He's so laid back! He doesn't feel the need to talk yet, that will come in his own time just like walking. :) He LOVES books! I think he's going to be ready to read soon. He also loves anything to do with music and lights. I really think he might be a musician! He's also very much an outdoors-man. Once he's outside, he's full on running as far and fast as he can go. He likes to play with the rocks and dirt, he's SUCH a boy! :)
I'm still at home with them and am loving it. They might start pre-school at 3, at which time I'll probably go back to work, but we'll see how it goes.
I'm planning on going back to school (CNM) in the fall to finish getting my degree. I have some un-finished business that I really want to take care of so that I know all those classes weren't taken for nothing! I'll probably go twice a week and my mom's going to watch the kids while I'm in class.
Nathan was hired on as a Sandian shortly after completing his Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering. He was working at Sandia as a contractor. Being a Sandian is really nice because it offers better benefits and a lot more security. He's really enjoying it so far!
We have a lot going on this summer. Next weekend I'll be in Las Vegas for a friend's bachelorette party. Then the babies birthday party will be June 18th. In July, Nathan and I are going to Comic-Con in San Diego. In August we are all making a trip to Indiana! Then, in September Nathan's sister, Emily, is getting married. We have a lot to look forward to!
